Shoecabulary: The T-Strap Shoe
The T-Strap style originated in the 1920s as a sexy and taboo shoe of it's time. This is because the shoe has two seductive components: 1. the strap around the ankle, 2. linear strap runs down the front seam of the foot. In the 1920s this was considered provocative because of the display of the foot. Women flocked them. T-strap shows were normally donned during elegant affairs and considered a dressier shoe style. Fashion houses are loving the latest craze. Quite frankly, we are loving it too.
