Fall/Winter Trends 2015

Menswear, fur, and patchwork have sprouted for the fall/winter. I'm excited to say some of the trends we saw last year and have resurfaced. Others footwear trends such as patch work been have seen in clothing has migrated south of our ankles to footwear. Take a gander below for current trends that you'll take part of a some point this year.

FUR-Sure

Fur is back. It's not just on our outerwear, but it has found it's way to our feet. At first I was hesitant to say I like for on footwear, the way it's done in the photos I like. Even the over-the-top Gucci loafers in the last frame are crazy, and I can appreciate them.

Mary Jane is Insane

I've always hated Mary Janes. They are way too conservative for my eccentric taste. Shoe designers must feel the same way and decided to update plain ol' Mary Jane and now MJ is my kind of girl. Check her out.

Menswear is the new Comfort Shoe

I've said it before, menswear is the nightmare section for all women with large feet. But, since it's in style, one might as well take it in stride and rack on menswear. The featured looks below were chosen for women with large feet in mind.

PATCHWORK

I was never much of a fan of patch denim or fabrics meshed together growing up. It seemed forced to put some fabrics together to create pants of a jacket. Additionally, I didn't see the look as going with "everything" because of the variety of different colors. Also, I have yet to participate in the trend when it resurfaces. However, I do adore patchwork fur jackets and now shoes have taken to the trend as well. But, this time it's with leather. And by George, I think this trend might actually work!

Nice.

O-T-K is the new Hosiery

Thank you Julia Roberts for sporting white over-the-knee boots in Pretty Woman.  These boots are synonymous with sex and could even get a wealthy guy like Richard Gere to take Julia home for the night. O.K., maybe it's fictional, but over-the-knee boots are sexy and make the consumer feel just as sexy. Said trend has been around for the past five years at least and has yet to fizzle out.
